Name: Genevieve "Genie" Olivo
Age: 24
Occupation Prior to Outbreak: High School P.E. Teacher and Softball Coach
Equipment: A wooden baseball bat, a combat knife, and a sniper rifle are the weapons she has on her at all times. She carries a light backpack filled with basic medical supplies, a full bottle of water, a flashlight, and her signature "meat bomb" (a jar filled with meat of freshly dead survivors that she can throw to the ground, bursting on impact and attracting the walkers away from her).
Signature Weapon: The baseball bat is her most used weapon, since she had played softball since a young age.
Portrayed by: Amanda Crew
Personality: Genie is a good person by nature, hence her liking of children and teenagers and desire to become a teacher. Still, since the beginning of this whole escapade a few weeks ago, her life, as well as everyone else's of course, has taken off in a completely different direction. She is very competitive, and since the dead have risen, she has become more ruthless than ever before.
Appearance: She stands at 5'6" and weights approximately 150 lbs. Her body is very fit, toned from visiting the gym and from her job at the school. Her eyes are a beautiful chocolate brown, and her locks of hair match that color brilliantly.
History: Genie Olivo grew up to a rather wealthy family in Columbus, Georgia. Her father, Rupert Olivo, was a CEO of a major film editing company, though he had a large interest in hunting. Because of this, Genie has been surrounded by guns ever since she was a young teenager, and her father has taught her how to operate nearly every type of gun out there. She always preferred the sniper rifle so that she could target things from a distance, which is why she carries one with her at all times now. Her mother, Dawn Olivo, was also a teacher, though she taught science classes to seventh graders. Her life growing up was rather ordinary aside from her learning how to be a pro shooter by age sixteen. Both of her parents were taken over during the first wave of the outbreak, and it has been particularly tough on her. Being the most physically fit in her family, she feels it was her fault that they died. She still blames herself for not protecting them, though she rarely lets those emotions be brought up.
Strengths: She is a very rational thinker, and she knows how to keep her emotions out of her decision-making process. She is also very skilled with wielding her bat, so she makes a good ally in combat. Her skills would allow her to become a great leader, but she truly doesn't want to have all of the responsibility falling on her in fear of disappointing someone. She would make a good vice president of some sort, who would just give advice to the top dog of the pack.
Weaknesses: Her biggest weakness is her hidden self-hatred for allowing her parents to die.
Goals: As selfish as it is, Genie wants to survive. She was to get through everything so that she can eventually be part of the team that finds a cure for this dreaded virus - to redeem herself in a sense.
