She handed him over with a smile. "Go on." She said. It's been a while. Being taken a picture. Even before the outbreak, she was so engrossed into taking pictures of nature, not one for herself. She's determined not to look grim, but it's impossible not to, at the same time it is possible she to circumstances.

He took the camera form her. He turned it on and aimed it at her "Smile kid" A few seconds past and eh took the picture, the flash was blinding something he hasnt seen in years. The camera, the flash, the pictures the flooding memories....the visions. He placed the camera down on the table, his vision getting blurry from the tears building up in his eyes. "I need to um be alone for a few" He walked towards the bedroom and sat down on his bed, face in his hands. There was no way to cut the ties from the old world to this new one. Sometimes time doesn't heal the scars it just rips them open more and more. He couldnt be this wreck anymore its not just him anymore he has someone else to look out for. He took a deep breath and sat there.

She saw a bit of the glassy eyes in Ryker's eyes. She knew those well, she's had it more than enough. The smile dropped from her face. As he walked away, she took the camera from the table and she looked at her picture. A smile.
It looked so fake.
But it wasn't. But there she knew, things aren't always what it feels like, and this— she doesn't know how place a fixed and posed smile anymore. But she could still place a very real one, just unconsciously not noticing it. And she guessed she liked that more. She turned the camera off and set it to her backpack again. What has this outbreak changed? Everything. It took a toll on all of them. All remaining survivors at least. She sat on the ground and put her hands on her face. This ruined everything. This outbreak. Ruined her life, how? She couldn't place a finger. But is her life really ruined? Apart from not seeing her family and maybe fighting forces that will murder you, also the fact that now you have to hide. But what really changed after that?

This world hasn't changed much, it always has been a hell. Think of it, there always had been evil, it just finally took the form of something. The only difference is that now everyone is equal no one is better than another. All that is left of the old world, are the people it created. Its time to cut off all ties, that world was now dead, as dead he felt on the inside. He took a cigarette form his pocket and lit it. He inhaled the smoke deeply and let it out through his nose. He stood up reaching into his pocket and taking out a picture of a beautiful girl. The tears flowed from his eyes. He took his lighter and held it under the picture...He put the picture closer, and it caught fire. He threw it into the garbage bin and watched as it burned, watched as the love of his life, crumpled into ashes before his eyes. The remaining tears falling from his face the final one falling on her face in the picture before it disappeared into ashes. He finished his cigarette and left his room, he needed a drink for the thing he just did....it killed what was remaining of his heart.

Her hands still in face. She revisited her thoughts. Living with schizophrenia hasn't been easy. Especially when you are trying to save yourself from zombies. Her 'problem'. Always seeing zombies, distancing on some people— just acting so fucking weird. To them. But they don't know. They never will understand. There is always going to be that wall between her and other people. She just hoped maybe someone could help her, because most of the society won't. She was even lucky to even have a best friend. The only friend she had, her roommate. But she list her to the goddamn walkers! Now she had no one. Well, she did have Ryker for now... But will she still have him after learning of her problem?

He walked down the hall lighting another cigarette. He walked passed the girl, she was on the ground probably crying, like he was. She seemed just as hurt as him. He walked over to a small cabinet and took out a full bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey. HE took out two glasses and poured about a shot in each. He walked over placing the glass in front of Ianne. "Im not sure if you drink, but it will surely put you to sleep tonight" He put the glass to his lips breathing in the strong aroma. It stung his nostrils. He took the glass form his lips and gestured a toast towards Ianne. "To the lost" It was a short toast but all in all it meant more than any other toast he could have said. To the lost...all those loved ones...all the people they lost in life...also them. They were just as lost as anyone. He once again out the glass to his mouth and knocked it back. the warm liquor sat in his stomach as he took a drag from his cigarette and poured another shot

She got out of her stupor. Cleared her arms. She nodded and grabbed the other glass and followed, "To the lost." She said with a grim face. She swallowed the warm liquid, she wasn't a big fan of alcohol, but it was definitely really good right now. To the lost souls, just literally everyone lost. Including her.
Her stomach growled as Ryker filled another glass.

He went to fill her glass up and he heard her stomach growl. He laughed a bit. "Ill hold off on this." He put his glass onto he table and went over tho the oven. He took the chicken out it was done and looked amazing. He carved out big chunks for him and the girl filling the plates. The noodles and corn made for a great side. He didnt realize how hungry he was till he sat down and looked at his food. He took his glass and knocked back the shot and began to eat, "Hope you like it"

She was star-eyed. Hot food, perfectly good meal with aromatic and seasoned meat. The sides with the chicken, she took to looking at it before eating. How blessed she is that moment. Once she did eat, the first bite was the best. The juices of the meat, she pretty much looked like a person who has never eaten chicken before. She looked at Ryker.

He returned her look "Well go ahead kid eat" He picked up his fork and knife and began to cut at his dinner. It really did look amazing, he took a bite, it was so juicy and tender best chicken he ever made. He decided to break the silence "So you ok?"

As she answered simply, "Never better." Never better than she could really say. She wondered what was after this, her life. She couldn't be caged up here, no matter how safe or privileged she is here. She knew she had to see her family again. Yes. She had to. But how? Without dying? Should she ask Ryker to forward the 'expedition'? But he'd more or so likely say no.

He was eating his food in somewhat silence they were both to hungry to really talk until he decided to re-break the silence."So is there anyplace you are looking to go to in particular? Got family somewhere?"

She took another beautiful bite then looked up to Ryker. "Mm. I do, but it's damn near impossible to go. That's why I don't really care where I go from here, but I'll keep trying to hope and do that I could go back to Scotland." She said, accent thick and sad. All ties severed to them by the rest of the world. Her destination off the other side of the world— how the hell would she ever even manage to go there? She can't even leave a city without being in mortal danger. "How about you?" She asked a bit slowly and nervously.

He was about to answer when screams and gun shots rang out. "What the fuck" He ran over to the window seeing a girl fighting of about fifteen walkers. "Stay here" He ran to his room and grabbed two pistols." Move this couch when I come back Im knocking three times so you know its me" He closed the door and ran out tot he street. Aiming he took down two zombies assisting the girl as she was reloading. "Catch" He threw her one if his guns and kept firing his killing another five.

She didn't think twice about catching the pistol. She took one look at it and identified it. She looked around her as her own gun was slung on her back and she continued to fire. She dropped about five in less than thirty seconds. She continued to shoot and dropped a couple more before she had to reload again. She looked at him and she noticed he still had some left and there was only about three left. She figured he had three bullets. She watched as he took the other three walkers down in three shots.
