She nodded, still sniffing. He was making sense, her fears and all. Why was she scared of something not real? But she knew what it was— she can't distinguish reality from hallucination, but that fear was still in her, she was brave enough to kill some of them, but never really losing that fear of what could prevent her from what she wants most. But now that maybe she had this stranger, somehow it felt that everything was all right. Could it? But why does she feel some kind of familiarity with this scary stranger? Like familial? Maybe these were hard times, everyone has got to look out for each other now, disliked or not. She felt that with someone to look out for her, she could repay the favor, facing the world and getting over her problem, even if it is not curable. Just loosing that fear, she knew that she could advance more towards seeing her family. She was thankful of this guy. She sniffed again, "Thanks." A cough went by, "Should we start looking?" She said in a raspy voice.

"Anytime" He gave her another smile and handed her a flashlight. "Yes we should. Hold onto this incase yours dies" He began to walk towards the aisles again "Is there anything in particular you are looking for or need? I know this place really well and know where most things are."

She gave back a smile. "Food and water... Probably a bigger bag too." She said politely, taking the flashlight. She wiped her eyes and followed suit, "What kind of warehouse is this? Seems to have everything." She said with a curious voice. To be honest, it really did cross her mind on how this place seems to have next to everything.

"I guess my past job experience has nothing to do with this world we live in anymore, its a smuggling warehouse for guns and other illegal things I was a security guard. It has everything because we shipped everything. We had latest prototypes of cameras, video games all technology. We had foods not suppose to be sold yet and what not. BUt enough of that here is the food section"

So that explains the camera. Past job huh? Once they got to the food section, her mouth watered. Canned foods, of peaches to pineapples. It's been a shitload of an eternity since she has seen clean and processed food, excluding the granola from the guy. Which reminds her, "I'm Ianne Detmer. And if you did wonder, yes. I am Scotish, from my accent." she said, still looking at the food.

He couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle, as the girl stared at all the food in front of her. "We should eat something before we leave this place I have a car out front if it wasn't stolen" He picked up a can of peaches and began to cut it open with his knife. "Here have some, and the names Ryker nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you Ryker." She said, eying the can. "Car... Yours? Or just there lying around?" She waited for the can. She had been curious, of course it is very lucky to have a parter who has a car, but then the noise "Won't it attract the Walkers?" She then eyed him.

"Its a prius Ianne not that loud" he laughed at he fact he was driving that type of car. "Its gets me where i need to go, its efficient with fuel and well its not loud." They both continued to eat the peaches, it was nice to share a meal with some one. "Ok kid lets pick as much stuff as we can carry and get out of here this place creeps me out" He handed her a bigger backpack and started to grab cans of food and water

She nodded. She too grabbed boxes of food, and found another big bag to stuff food with. And she also found a backpack perfect for her weapons— save the scythe. It fit perfectly with her camera and water. She packed the bags full.

He watched as she packed her bags full of the items that she needed. He took his gun out and turned the safety off and started to walk towards the exit again. "Id get a weapon ready kid always expect a walker to pop out of no where first rule" He opened the door and rounded the corner seeing the black car still being there of course there were two walkers eating a few dead animals near it. He put his finger to his mouth to shh the girl. He took out two throwing knives and threw them both impaling the zombies in there skulls. "Ok lets go more might be around"

Her grip in the scythe was again, hard. They were near the car now, hopefully there won't be more. Once beside the car, she put the bags in the trunk, excluding her backpack. She nodded to Ryker, taking the back seat. Truth be told, she never liked sitting out front. She was waiting for him to start the car, still looking at the dead animal from the window.

He opened the trunk and got into the drivers seat. He watched as she got into the back seat. "My driving isn't that bad kid" he laughed and started the car and pulled out of the parking lot. "Anywhere specific you would like to go?"

"I never preferred sitting in the front." She relayed to him in a bored voice. For the reasons why, she never like seeing what's in front of her, she likes focusing on the sides, her pictures can tell you that. "Anywhere safe. Just not in Talbutton." She said, looking at him in the rear view mirror. Just not there.
Talbutton was... Destructive to the core when the outbreak started. Even though it is in the middle of nowhere, it seemed worse, the walkers everywhere. As if trapping you inside, which what it is probably doing anyways.

He just drove there wasn't really anyplace safe to go. They could try getting to his apartment but last time he was there was weeks ago lord knows what was inhabiting those halls. "We can try my apartment if you want"

Somehow, no matter how suggestive that might sound to other women, it did not occur to Ianne. "Where's your apartment? Are you sure it is safe there?" She asked. Gods, she was asking a lot today, but you know, safety comes first. Shame, if it wasn't safe. "Walkers inhabit my apartment. True, her first kill was her best friend and roommate's daughter. Her best friend only appeared moments after, a walker.
